What Nightmare changes
Nightmare is the highest difficulty setting. Entity velocity coefficients scale dynamically with the difficulty parameter. On Nightmare, the Howler's pursuit vector is near-terminal — outrunning it without Olympic Runner is statistically impossible.

- Advanced Camera (mandatory)
- Metal Lungs (strongly recommended)
- Sixth Sense (strongly recommended)
- Extra Lives (recommended for L23 bifurcation)
Per-level strategy
Each level's Nightmare strategy is identical to its standard strategy with one exception: stamina discipline. Every sprint must be justified. Every flashlight toggle is a tactical decision. The per-level wiki pages include Nightmare-specific tips in the dedicated callout.
