The title
Breakthrough is uniquely awarded for holding the Chapter 1 speedrun world record for a duration of three consecutive days. The title is the highest prestige marker in the legacy speedrunning community.
Routing
Chapter 1 Any% allows for the Level 7 Vent Glitch (F11 keybinds, crouching, GUI manipulation) to bypass the entire cryptographic puzzle. The Any% par for L7 is approximately 15 seconds vs. the Glitchless par of 4 minutes.
Pacing targets
The current Chapter 1 Any% world record sits at approximately 45 minutes. To hold it for 3 consecutive days, you must produce a run that beats the existing record AND withstand 48 hours of community challenge attempts.
